Lady GaGa is mermaid this way
LADY GaGa makes a splash in her latest video – as she’s transformed into a mermaid.
The shocking songbird cups her breasts while she writhes in a tin bath for the eye-popping promo to You and I.
With the lower half of her body resembling that of a fish, her upper half remains in human form, but with gills on her neck, shoulder and cheeks.
It’s just one of a series of startling looks the controversial chart-topper adopts for the six-minute clip. The track is taken from her No1 album Born This Way and features legendary Queen guitarist Brian May.

Further scenes in the elaborate vid see the singer lying nude on a table. She protects her modesty with her hands as a topless man looks on. Elsewhere she is seen in drag – impersonating a greasy 1950s rocker.
She puffs on a cigarette before she is seen in a romantic clinch with her female doppelganger. The track is taken from her No1 album Born This Way and features legendary Queen guitarist Brian May.

Elsewhere she portrays a Frankenstein’s monster-inspired character. And she sports elaborate glasses in a scene where she is brought to life.
But she doesn’t remain living for long – as she is subsequently seen floating, lifeless in a tank of liquid. The spectacular video marks a return to the songbird’s trademark flamboyant visual style.
The promo to her last single, Edge Of Glory, was a stripped back affair – shot on one set that was made to look like New York in the 1970s.
Previous videos have seen the singer wrapped in police incident tape – Telephone, give birth to alien life forms – Born This Way and frolic in a giant bath – Bad Romance.
