Good Idea Or Cheesy?: Lifetime to produce Lady Gaga biopic

It is reported that the eccentric life of American pop singer-songwriter Stefani Germanotta or better known as Lady Gaga, will be turned into a movie titled “Fame Monster” as producers scour for a lead, according to a report on ShowBiz411′s website.

The script for “Fame Monster” has already been written and the movie will revolve around the story of how Stefani Germanotta gets transformed to Lady Gaga as it covers her from age 16 to 22.

Part of the description for the Lady Gaga role reads “The story covers the ups and downs of her amazing rise and eventually to her transformation to Lady GAGA. We are seeking an actress who can physically resemble Lady GAGA and who can believably span ages 16 to 22. Singing is preferred but not required.”

The American cable television network, Lifetime TV will be running the project of developing the movie and a casting call has been send out to find the right person to play as Lady Gaga.

Many have list out names they think will be suitable to play the role on forums, and some of the candidates include TV series’ “Gossip Girl” actress, Taylor Momsen, “Glee” actresses, Lea Michele and Heather Morris, “Twilight” actress, Nikki Reed and even Selena Gomez.
