Chelsea shared the image on her Facebook page. “A highlight of tonight was meeting Lady Gaga backstage,” she said. “Her combination of creativity, intelligence and activism are inspiring – and, yes, she’s even more remarkable on stage than on youtube.”

Lady Gaga also delivered on stage. The singer changed the words of the song “Bad Romance” to “Bill Romance,” stripping out of her dress to reveal a nude body suit underneath.

To the shock of the president, his wife, and his daughter, the singer proceeded to serenade the president, who was sitting just a few feet away from the dance diva. But the Lady won over the former First Family, who was caught up in the performance and dancing to the beat. Gaga slithered over to the stage where Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea stood and told them, “I’m going to dance with the whole family.” She sang, “I love you Bill, and Chelsea too.”

But Bill was warned: Clinton admitted that when he invited Lady Gaga, she told him her idea. The former president, who had a quadruple bypass in 2004, joked, “I got nervous when Gaga said she was planning to have a Marilyn moment, and I thought, ‘I will have a heart attack for my 65th birthday

Her tune “Poker Face” was playing in the house around 8 p.m., and Lady Gaga entered a party tent in the backyard moments later. She towered over the group of donors and even the president, courtesy of sky-high heels plus a bouffant black-and-blond hairdo that on its own added six inches to her stature.

Wearing a floor-length sleeveless lacy black dress, Gaga took a seat at the middle table in a seven-table setup and stood up with the rest of the guests when Obama entered. He spoke for about eight minutes, and though he didn’t acknowledge the pop star’s presence, it was likely they’d crossed paths earlier during greetings inside the house.

The New York resident had performed Saturday at the I Heart Music festival in Las Vegas, dedicating a song to Jamey Rodemeyer, a gay teen who committed suicide last week after being teased about his sexuality. “I am meeting with our President,” Gaga said Wednesday on Twitter. “I will not stop fighting. This must end. Our generation has the power to end it. Trend it #MakeALawForJamey.”

Lady Gaga, a champion for the gay community, had been outspoken in rallying her fans to support the end of the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, which Congress in December voted to rescind. Obama and military leaders certified in July that lifting the policy wouldn’t adversely affect the military, kicking off a 60-day waiting period that resulted in DADT coming to an end last week.

But another community that heard from the president over the weekend was not quite as rallied.

In response to an Obama speech Saturday to the Congressional Black Caucus, which he ended by saying, “Take off your bedroom slippers, put on your marching shoes, shake it off, stop complaining, stop grumbling, stop crying, we are going to press on, we’ve got work to do, CBC,” Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Los Angeles) expressed some confusion about whom the president had been talking to.

Waters noted Monday that Obama “would never say that to the gay and lesbian community, who really pushed him on ‘don’t ask don’t tell.’” (Or, she said, to the Hispanic or Jewish communities.)

Might Obama benefit from soaking up some essence of Gaga, as posited in a recent business-school case study suggesting entrepreneurs could learn a thing or two from her meteoric rise to success?

The president’s West Coast fundraising trip — with appeals tailored to each group he meets with, according to Politics Now — hits L.A.’s Westside on Monday.

The script for “Fame Monster” has already been written and the movie will revolve around the story of how Stefani Germanotta gets transformed to Lady Gaga as it covers her from age 16 to 22.

Part of the description for the Lady Gaga role reads “The story covers the ups and downs of her amazing rise and eventually to her transformation to Lady GAGA. We are seeking an actress who can physically resemble Lady GAGA and who can believably span ages 16 to 22. Singing is preferred but not required.”

The American cable television network, Lifetime TV will be running the project of developing the movie and a casting call has been send out to find the right person to play as Lady Gaga.

Many have list out names they think will be suitable to play the role on forums, and some of the candidates include TV series’ “Gossip Girl” actress, Taylor Momsen, “Glee” actresses, Lea Michele and Heather Morris, “Twilight” actress, Nikki Reed and even Selena Gomez.

Lady Gaga’s stylist spotted Rebecca Short’s rubber dress after seeing it at London Graduate Fashion Week and told her the singer may wear it.

“She emailed me asking to send that particular outfit,” she said. “A few other people from my fashion course sent things.

“I never thought in a million years she would actually wear my dress.”

Rebecca, who’s from Sheffield but studied at Birmingham City university, was travelling in Central America with some friends when she heard that her dress had been worn.

Gaga posted a photograph of herself wearing the dress to her Twitter account and on her Facebook wall.

“I couldn’t believe it really. I still think it’s a hoax! It’s so surreal.”

“Being a really stripped back minimalistic piece I was really shocked she actually chose it as her style is more eccentric.

“She wore it in a way that was totally different to how I styled it. It worked really well, it was really alternative with the turquoise beehive and white gloves.”

Short says the dress was returned to her in perfect condition but isn’t sure what she’ll do with it yet.

It’s not the first time Lady Gaga’s used a student designer. Last year she asked an 18-year-old fashion student from Hull to ship some of her designs to LA.

Rebecca says it’s been a great break for her.

“This is huge and lucky for me. I was working really hard for my graduate project and never thought about dressing someone famous. Being fresh out of university it’s a struggle to even find a job and I’m really pleased and proud of what I’ve managed to achieve.”

Since graduating Rebecca is now working for a boutique fashion label but she’s hoping to work again with Lady Gaga.

“That would be a dream. I’m continuing to design more and her stylist has said any more things I have, I can send over and if she fancies anything in the future I might get another commission. Who knows!”

Elsewhere she portrays a Frankenstein’s monster-inspired character. And she sports elaborate glasses in a scene where she is brought to life.

But she doesn’t remain living for long – as she is subsequently seen floating, lifeless in a tank of liquid. The spectacular video marks a return to the songbird’s trademark flamboyant visual style.

The promo to her last single, Edge Of Glory, was a stripped back affair – shot on one set that was made to look like New York in the 1970s.

Previous videos have seen the singer wrapped in police incident tape – Telephone, give birth to alien life forms – Born This Way and frolic in a giant bath – Bad Romance.
